We're beyond thrilled to receive our Beyond Best Practice rating from APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation)!!
Their 2023 Annual Report defines "Beyond Best Practice" as "you have received the highest performance level and have made significant progress on your packaging sustainability journey".
In the spirit of complete transparency, our report card can be viewed via the APCO website - link here and assesses us against 7 criteria (the Packaging Sustainability Framework).
APCO (Australian Packaging Covenant Organisation) is a government organisation charged with supporting industry and government to deliver the 2025 National Packaging Targets.
- 100% reusable, recyclable or compostable packaging.
- 70% of plastic packaging being recycled or composted.
- 50% of average recycled content included in packaging (revised from 30% in 2020).
- The phase out of problematic and unnecessary single-use plastics packaging.
We joined APCO as a signatory which means we made an ongoing commitment to report regularly on our progress against their key criteria.
All of our packaging is 100% compostable and all of our orders are shipped plastic free.
There's still more we need to do to reduce plastic across our supply chain and that's our next goal.
We're committed to continually improving as part of our brand promise to do more good and less harm.
