Below is one of my favourite, go to smoothie recipes. I love the colour, the texture and all the amazing benefits of the humble (read: power packed) blueberries & banana. This heathy, brain boosting smoothie recipe will be on high rotation for you too soon. Enjoy!
Ingredients
This is one of her favourite nutrient dense smoothies packed full of whole food fats, omega 3 and antioxidants. It's sure to get your day off to a good start!
What you’ll need:
1 small banana
1 cup frozen blueberries
1 cup milk of choice (we use almond milk)
1/2 cup coconut yoghurt
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
2 tablespoons hemp hearts
1/2 teaspoon spirulina
Method
Optional extras could include a serving of your favourite protein powder and 1 tsp cordyceps or lions mane powder.
Method:
1. Blitz everything in a blender until super smooth.
2. If you want a thinner smoothie add extra milk or a dash of coconut water.
3. If you want something colder add some ice cubes.
