How to Make the Ultimate Grazing Platter

Whether it's a picnic in the park, dinner party at home or a celebration with friends a grazing board is the way to go! The options are endless, and with lots of variety and colour you can make them look beautiful.

Here's some of our tips for pulling together a platter of your own.

1. Start with Fruit & Veggies

The brighter, the better! Chop up carrots, cucumbers, zucchini, capsicum and any other vegetables that are bright and sturdy. You'll be dunking them into dips so you want to use vegetables that won't break.

When it comes to fruit, make sure you opt for things that are in season. They'll taste better and will be cheaper too! We like to chop the fruit so it's ready to be eaten. It helps add a splash of colour too. Remember, people eat with their eyes first.

When buying fruit & veggies don't forget to use our Organic Mesh Produce Bag to avoid plastic.

2. Dip it Up!

Making your own dips is super easy. Plus it's a great way to use up any vegetables you have in the fridge that could be going off. Pesto is always a crowd favourite and you can't go wrong with hummus too. Make it ahead of time and store in a Rectangle Eco Stow, Spice Jar, or spare glass jar, until you're ready to plate up.

3. Try Your Hand at Vegan Cheese

We know what you're thinking - how do you make vegan cheese? But it's easier than you think. There's a tonne of recipes online, or you can buy some delicious ones in glass jars that you can reuse afterwards.

4. Don't Forget the Bread

Buying crackers without plastic is next to impossible. While you can make your own, we prefer to buy a loaf of bread in our reusable shopping bags and slice this up to enjoy! You can either add it fresh, or toast them with some olive oil, salt and pepper for extra crunch.

5. Pretty it Up

Add some flowers from the garden...just because!
