Why these ingredients?

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is an incredible natural ingredient in skincare due to its unique molecular structure that closely resembles human sebum. This makes it highly compatible with all skin types, helping to balance oil production, moisturize and protect skin from damage. Its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties also make it an effective ingredient for soothing and healing various skin concerns.

Aloe Vera

Aloe Vera is a natural hydrating ingredient in skincare due to its high water content and the presence of polysaccharides, which help to lock in moisture. It also contains amino acids, vitamins, and antioxidants that can soothe, nourish and protect the skin, making it an ideal ingredient for dry and dehydrated skin types.

Hibiscus Extract

Hibiscus extract is a natural ingredient known for its anti-aging, anti-inflammatory, and antioxidant properties. It contains AHAs that help exfoliate and brighten the skin while improving texture and elasticity. Cocoa Butter

Cocoa butter is a natural ingredient that has excellent moisturising properties, making it an ideal addition to our hydrating mask. It helps to deeply hydrate and nourish the skin, leaving it feeling soft, smooth, and supple. Additionally, cocoa butter is rich in antioxidants, which helps to protect the skin from environmental stressors and premature aging.

Kakadu Plum

Kakadu Plum is a prized Australian native botanical that is rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants, making it a potent ingredient in skincare. Its powerful properties help to brighten and even out skin tone, improve collagen production, and protect the skin from environmental damage. Including it in skincare formulations is a source of pride due to its unique and beneficial properties.

Macadamia Oil

Macadamia oil is our number 1 nourishing ingredient for our moisturiser due to its high concentration of vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps protect and repair the skin from environmental stressors. It also contains fatty acids that deeply moisturise and soothe dry, irritated skin, making it a great addition to any all natural skincare routine.

How do I use these?

Cleansing Bar

Using zero plastic face wash bars is a simple and effective way to reduce your environmental impact while maintaining healthy skin. To use these bars, wet your face and the bar, then lather the bar in your hands or rub it directly onto your face in circular motions. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat your face dry. For best results, use the face wash bar daily as part of your skincare routine. When not in use, store the bar in a dry place to prevent it from becoming soggy. These eco-friendly face wash bars are a sustainable and affordable alternative to traditional plastic-packaged products.

The Serum

To use the zero plastic face serum 'The Serum,' start by washing your face with the cleansing bar face wash. Pat your face dry with a towel and apply a small amount of the serum onto your fingertips. Gently massage the serum into your skin, starting from the center of your face and moving outwards. Be sure to apply the serum evenly over your face and neck.

The serum is rich in antioxidants from the Kadau Plum, which helps to protect your skin from environmental stressors and pollution. It also contains vitamin C, which helps to brighten your complexion and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

For best results, use the serum every morning daily, as a part of your skincare routine.

The Moisturiser

To use our zero plastic face moisturizer that is rich in Vitamin E and C with anti-aging benefits, start by making sure your face is clean and dry. After washing your face with our cleansing bar face wash and applying your Vitamin C serum, take a small amount of The Moisturizer and gently massage it onto your face, neck, and décolletage using upward motions.

The formula is lightweight and absorbs quickly, so you don't have to worry about any greasiness or stickiness. It will leave your skin feeling soft, hydrated, and radiant, while also helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

Use The Moisturizer twice a day, in the morning and before bed, to keep your skin looking youthful and refreshed. Remember to store it in a cool, dry place and keep the lid tightly closed to preserve its potency.

The Exfoliating Mask

Apply the mask onto damp skin and leave it for 10-15 minutes. After that, gently massage the product onto the skin in small circular motions, being careful not to pull or tug at the skin. Rinse thoroughly and pat dry. We recommend to using this mask twice a week with a light layer over the entire face, excluding the eye area. However, the amount used can be adjusted to suit your skin needs. For the best results, we reccomend after patting dry applying with The Moisturiser. Adding moisture back to the skin leaving it supple and nourished.

The Hydrating Mask

To use this hydrating face mask, start by cleansing your skin and making sure it is dry. Then, apply a layer of the mask to your face and allow it to absorb for 10-15 minutes. After the allotted time, you can either blot off any excess product with a reusable cotton cloth or rinse your face with water. This mask contains nourishing ingredients such as cocoa butter and Jojoba oil, which can help moisturize and rejuvenate your skin, leaving it feeling soft and hydrated.

Shampoo Bar

Use by foaming the bar with water through your wet hair and it will lather up beautifully in seconds. Massage into your scalp & roots, then rinse. For best results, follow with our Conditioner Bar.

Conditioner Bar

Rub the bar into the ends of your wet hair after shampooing, comb it through to detangle if needed, then wait a couple of minutes and rinse out.

When we set out to create the Without Skincare range we wanted to address a problem. Why is there so much single use plastic in our daily skincare products? Would it be possible to lessen our environmental impact and not compromise on the quality of the products? At Seed & Sprout, we are all about solving everyday problems that help our customers live a more sustainable lifestyle, reduce their consumption of single use plastics and lessen their impact on our precious environment.
Our Without Skincare range addresses a growing concern over the impact of plastic waste on the environment. Plastic pollution is a significant global problem, and the beauty industry is a major contributor. Many skincare products are packaged in plastic containers that end up in landfill and oceans, where they can take hundreds of years to decompose. Our aim was to produce a zero plastic skincare range - we wanted to eliminate plastic from the packaging and prioritize natural, organic ingredients and reduce exposure to potentially harmful synthetic chemicals.
Our Without range is proudly plastic free and designed to minimise environmental impact through innovative design. Our products are plastic free, made in Australia, packaged in recyclable aluminum tubes, comes with a forever lid (allowing for less packaging on refills!) and we even designed a custom tube key to minimise wastage in the tube.

"Do you ever get that feeling you could do better? I knew the skincare I was using wasn’t perfect, but I didn’t really know what to do about it. It was overwhelming to sift through all the greenwashing, the multitude of ingredients of who knows what and the ethical certifications. This is the reason why I decided to create the perfect, all natural, vegan friendly, Australian made skincare with zero plastic and zero chemicals.

I have a strong passion for natural products and believe in the power of nature to heal and nourish the skin. Many skincare products on the market contain harsh chemicals that can at best irritate the skin, at worst poison our bodies and harm the environment. I felt the need to create a healthier and more eco-friendly alternative. One you could trust.

As an Australian, I have a deep appreciation for the natural beauty of our country and feel a responsibility to protect it by using sustainable and locally sourced ingredients.

Let's remove plastic in our bathrooms!

Our new refill skincare concept is a sustainable solution that addresses the issue of plastic waste in the bathroom. Instead of using traditional plastic packaging that is often single-use and non-recyclable, our refillable skincare system uses recyclable aluminium tubes and a forever lid made of zinc alloy. This allows customers to reduce their plastic waste footprint while still maintaining their skincare routine.

The refill system is easy to use. Customers can purchase a new tube of skincare with the first order, and then simply order refills as needed. The refill tubes are designed to fit perfectly into the forever lid, which can be reused indefinitely. When the tube is empty, the customer can simply recycle it in their regular recycling bin, and order a new refill to continue using their forever lid.

Using recyclable aluminium for our refill tubes significantly reduces the environmental impact of our products. Aluminium is a highly recyclable material, with over 75% of all aluminium ever produced still in use today. By choosing aluminium for our refill tubes, we are contributing to a circular economy where materials are reused and waste is minimized.

In addition, the forever lid is made of zinc alloy, which is also a recyclable material. By using a durable and reusable lid, we eliminate the need for customers to purchase a new lid every time they order a refill. This saves customers money and reduces waste.

Our refill skincare concept is an innovative and sustainable solution that makes it easy for customers to reduce their plastic waste footprint. By choosing recyclable aluminium for our tubes and a forever lid made of zinc alloy, we are creating a product that is both effective and eco-friendly. We are excited to offer this new system to our customers and contribute to a more sustainable future for the planet.
