Wooden Beechwood Spice Scoop 4pk

Hand wash with mild detergent and dry immediately - don't leave them soaking or put them in the dishwasher, as prolonged water exposure can cause splitting or warping. Every so often, treat them with a food-safe wood oil or beeswax to keep the surface nourished and crack-free. With this simple routine, beechwood utensils can last for decades and actually improve with age as the wood seasons.

Our spice scoops are crafted from beechwood and finished with natural beeswax. They carry LFGB certification - the most rigorous food safety standard globally, stricter than FDA testing - so you can confidently use them with all dry goods, spices, and pantry staples without any concern about harmful materials or chemical leaching.

Each scoop measures 2.5cm handle height, 3.5cm head height, and 3cm at its widest point, weighing just 3grams. They're designed as spice-portion scoops - ideal for transferring measured amounts of spices, herbs, and fine dry ingredients from jars and refillable containers into your cooking.

Yes, they're designed with exactly that in mind. Their compact, precise shape makes them ideal for portioning from refillable glass jars, ceramic canisters, and pantry containers without mess or waste.

Plastic utensils are the least sustainable option as they melt under heat, can leach microplastics, and end up in landfill for hundreds of years. Silicone is a meaningful step up: it's heat-resistant and safer than plastic, but it still isn't biodegradable and can absorb odours over time. Beechwood is the most natural and planet-friendly choice for everyday cooking - fully biodegradable, chemical-free, and built to last. We offer both beechwood and silicone options so you can choose the right tool for every task. Read our full comparison here.

Our utensils are made from LFGB certified beechwood. LFGB is the most rigorous food-safety standard available - stricter than FDA testing - confirming the materials are safe for contact with food. We also tested this range against 48 different pesticides, and none were detected.
