The Eucalyptus Chopping Board is designed with a black core and a green surface layer. Both layers are made from the same durable mix of 80% pine fibre and 20% resin. With use, scratches may reveal the black layer beneath. This is a natural feature of the board’s design and does not affect its strength or safety.

Worth it
I bought these as my old Joseph & Joseph plastic ones were way past their best and, well, plastic. These look great, feel great and wash so easily - sometimes if I am lazy they go in the dishwasher, but they handwash super easy too. I wouldn't say these will replace my other wooden boards, if I'm chopping or dicing lots of veg I prefer true wood, but these are great for the things I don't feel are safe for wood - like onion, raw chicken, fish etc. They are a very hard surface so may cause knives to blunten a little quicker - but for the functionality they provide, still 100% worth the money. The small and medium are generous in size.
